Welcome!
Welcome to the 2010 Kananaskis Whitewater Festival
When: August 13th - 15th 2010
Where: Canoe Meadows, Kananaskis River
What is a Whitewater Festival…?
KWF is a gathering of whitewater enthusiasts for a weekend of total FUN. It’s a chance to get out on the water, take a clinic or go on a guided run. If you’re interested in a little friendly competition you can enter the freestyle rodeo, boater cross, team ball race and much more. There’s also lots going on off the water as well; BBQ, throwbag toss, live music, massage, demos, yoga, auctions….. Oh there are always some surprises….!!
Who Can Come.?
Anyone can come. The idea behind this weekend is to attract as many kayakers and canoeists as possible from novice to advanced. This year’s format has been changed to ecourage more beginner paddlers to come out and participate. The weekend is structured such that you get a chance to paddle with your “heroes”, “friends”, “better halves” and meet many new paddlers. Even if you are not paddling there’s lots to do and see.
